Stephanie Van Dooren is a native of The Netherlands and started her early dance training at the Dutch National Ballet Academy in Amsterdam. She graduated in 2007 and moved to New York to pursue her studies at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance with scholarships from the Van den Ende Foundation and the Han Lammersfonds. She became a member of Graham II in 2008, roles danced include the Bride in Appalachian Spring and the Girl in Yellow in Diversion of Angels. While in Graham II she also performed works of Virginie Mécène, Pearl Lang, Blakeley White-McGuire and Tadej Brdnik. She graduated from the Professional Training Program and Teacher Training Program and now has the pleasure of teaching the Young Artist Program at the Martha Graham School.
