Allie Tsubota, originally from New Jersey, is a freshman at the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. She began studying dance at a young age, starting with ballet and tap, and later moving on to jazz and modern. As a high schooler, she began to commute into the city in order to take dance classes at Steps on Broadway and Dance New Amsterdam. She has enjoyed her summers at various summer dance programs, all of which inspired in her a love for modern dance. She has also danced with the Tap City Youth Ensemble for four years, performing both in and around New York City.
